After ruling that Lamont Peterson will retain the junior welterweight belt he won from Amir Khan, due to an independent doctor’s opinion that the testosterone levels found in Peterson’s blood were consistent with therapeutic use, they ordered that he defend against Zab Judah. However, some people feel Peterson should fight Khan based on the fact that their rematch, according to the IBF’s own findings, should not have been canceled in the first place and that Khan should get his rematch.
