Featherweight Joel Diaz and light middleweight Glen Tapia scored stoppage wins at Ballys in Atlantic City on Saturday night.
Diaz, 11-0-(10), scored a second round TKO win over Guillermo Sanchez, 13-7-1-(5), while Tapia banged out Franklin Gonzalez, 15-11-(10) by flooring him twice before the bout was stopped after 2:02.
Heavyweight Dorsett Barnwell upset the favored and previously unbeaten Joey Dawejko, 7-1-1-(3 ) by winning a split decision six round win. The scores were 58-56 twice for Barnwell and 59-55 for Dawejko.
At light middleweight Thomas “Cornflake” Lamanna scored a split decision win over Yolexcy Leiva.
In another heavyweight bout Patrick Farrell recovered from a first round knockdown to stop Wayne Hamptonin the third round.
