Each week, Gerry will answer as many of your questions as he can on the Sirius XM radio show “Friday Night at The Fights,” a show Gerry co-hosts with Randy “The Commish” Gordon, former Chairman of the New York State Athletic Commission.
The show airs every Friday on Sirius channel 92 and XM channel 208 from 6 - 8 p.m., Eastern Standard Time.
Our first question comes from Tony T, who asks:
Gerry, I’m kind of new to boxing and I find the three-knockdown rule somewhat confusing. If a fighter gets rocked but is able to continue, why shouldn’t he be allowed to? Someone told me that most fighters will fight to the death if allowed to. Is that true?
Our next question comes from Tony S., who asks:
Gerry, who do you think would win in a match-up between Gennady Golovkin and Floyd Mayweather? I think “Triple G” would take “Money.”
