The Barbershop- July 19, 2011

Happy Tuesday, fans!

Welcome to this week’s edition of “The Barbershop,” a column designed to give you a forum to speak your mind about our question(s) of the week or any boxing-related issue that you would like to comment on. We welcome and appreciate your participation, so take a minute, scroll down and leave your comment below.

Now on to today’s question:

Big news this week, gang! Ross Greenburg is out as the head of HBO Boxing and the popular bet is that Kery Davis is probably going out right behind him! So, do you think this is good or bad for boxing and who would you like to see replace Greenburg?

Also, as part of their divorce case, Jin Mosley sued for possession of ex-husband Shane Mosley’s three championship belts and the judge awarded them to her. Many boxing fans are outraged that she even went after his belts. Jin claims she wants the belts so she can give them to his children when they each turn 18. Do you agree with the judge’s decision or do you feel that it is Shane’s right to give his belts to his children if and when HE wants?

You pay the bills, fans, what do YOU think?
Don’t forget, fans, you can join the fun on Friday nights as I join Randy Gordon and Gerry Cooney on their “Friday Night at the Fights” satellite radio show on Sirius channel 92 and XM channel 207.

We’ll be discussing these items and whatever else is on your mind in the sport of boxing.

The show runs from 7 PM to 9 PM EST and you can call in and let us know what you think by dialing 1-866-522-2846. We look forward to hearing from you!
