Algieri Coming on Strong

By Allan Scotto - Long Island native Chris Algieri has improved his record to 9-0 with two impressive victories over Jose L. Guzman and Edward Valdez.
Algieri squared off against two time Golden Glove finalist Jose Guzman on July 18th at the Plattdeutsche Restaurant in Franklin Square, Long Island.
The fight got off to a slow start with Guzman showing fast feet and a stinging jab.
